⚽ Sportsmenders FC – Ages 8 - 14
Our football sessions help children develop their technique, build confidence on the ball and improve their understanding of the game. All abilities are welcome!
Children will practise:
⚽ Dribbling and ball control – keeping possession, changing direction and beating an opponent.
🎯 Passing and receiving – improving accuracy, first touch and linking passes with teammates.
🥅 Shooting and finishing – developing technique and choosing when to shoot.
🏃 Movement and positioning – finding space, supporting teammates and reacting quickly.
🤝 Teamwork and decision-making – communicating and knowing when to pass, dribble or shoot.
Saturday session options:
• 1:00–2:00pm: Developing football skills through coaching drills, challenges and small-sided games.
• 1:00–3:00pm: Includes additional matches to apply these skills and learn the fundamentals of attacking and defending in game situations—creating space, building attacks, tracking opponents, protecting the goal and switching between attack and defence. A short snack break is included.
